Youth Hostel on the shores of the Rhine
This is a huge youth hostel on the shores of the Rhine river. It is great for people who are simply looking for a place to crash and don't need a luxury hotel. However, it's not a crappy place. The rooms are clean and each room has its own bathroom (usually there are 2-4 beds in each room). Each person can have their own locker too (the lockers are in the bedrooms). Our entire World Youth Day group stayed in this hostel, and we enjoyed it.
There is also a cafeteria, internet access, a garden, and meeting/conference rooms. The curfew is 11:00pm. If you show up later than that, you're locked out for the night.
