Bicyclists in the United States are usually ignored by passers-by, we are forced to take the grassy area so as to not disturb the walkers hogging up the entire 5 foot wide sidewalk. Those Jerks! All those walking people should go to Germany and see what it should really be like.No matter what side walk you're on, you will encounter a bicyclist. Koln is filled with them! I love it! I had to accustom myself to stay out of the bike lane, before I heard that soon to be familiar "DING DING" 3 feet behind me demanding I get out of the way. And YOU WILL get out of the way, cause they sure ain't moving for you! Haha! Gotcha, Walkers!!!
Anyway, Stay out of the bike lane! Respect the bikers!!!! ahhh!!!
