DORTMUND BUDESLIGA SOCCER

I wanted to go to the dortmund vs bayern munchen game on april 17th, but i have never traveled on the train system alone when i was visiting germany. Im not fluent in german and im worried about the long train trip from Bamberg to Dortmund. Does anyone know if this trip is difficult and how complicated it is to get to Dortmunds stadium once ive arrived at the main train station there? Im most worried about catching my connections which will either be one or even two connections since its such a long trip. Also, what time should i schedule my train to go home since it will most likely take a while to get out after the game is over. i know these questions might seem vague but if theres anyone who knows about this i can give you more specific questions if you need them. thanks in advance.

once you get near dortmound there wont be any problems with directions.
just follow the yellow shirts.
football supporters are generally very helpful to an outsider coming to see a game.
i was at a game a couple of weeks ago with vt member horscheck and a guy came and gave us 2 free tickets for the game when he heard us speak english.

Thats good news. thats so cool that everyone was so nice and you got tickets on top of that!! It makes me feel better about going. I dont have tickets yet, but thats the one thing im trying to decide about. I get to Bamberg on the 13th and i dont know if i should just wait till i get to germany to get my tickets (i would need 2) or if i should order them before i leave off the internet. I dont understand enough german to figure out if i can still get tickets through the official clubs of dortmund or bayern. Is there another train or a bus that comes to the main train station to take fans to the stadium and back? thanks for your help so far

A game between BoDo and Bayern will be sold out, so I agree - get your tickets in advance if you can. Otherwise you have to find someone scalping tickets.

The atmosphere should be pretty good. Hope you have a grand time.

I FIGURED I WOULDNT BE ABLE TO GET TICKETS FROM THE CLUBS BUT I DO KNOW OF EBAY AND AND ONE OTHER WEBSITE THAT HAS SOME BUNDESLIGA TICKETS THAT I CAN TRY TO GET TICKETS FROM WHICH CAN BE SENT TO MY GRANDMAS HOUSE. THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE INFO. IT MAKES ME EVEN MORE EXCITED TO GO NOW. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS SPECIFIC SEATING FOR BAYERN FANS? I REALLY DONT CARE IF I HAVE TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF DORTMUND FANS BECAUSE IM JUST HAPPY TO BE THERE BUT I ALWAYS WONDERED IF THEY SEPERATE THE FANS OR IS IT JUST RANDOM.

at most football games you will find a section for each team plus a more neutral section that is more family orientated.
the crasiest fans are usually behing the goals.

ok i need help. i see tickets on ebay and they say they are in Westtribüne, Block 1, Reihe 3 at the dortmund stadium. i have the seating chart that dortmund provides on their website but i have no idea if these seats are part of the bayern fans section or the dormund. ive pretty much figured out that the south goal side is the bayern fan section but i dont know if the block 1 area is still bayern area or not. can anyone tell me if i would be sitting with bayern fans or dortmund ones? thanks for any information. You all have already given me so much help.

These cute rhinos of the countries that played in the soccer world championship in Dortmund can be found near the Friedensplatz and the Adlerturm. Of course, I was very pleased to see the Swiss rhino there too.

zoologischen garten Dortmund

28 hectares , 2500 animals and over 360 species. It is not e very small zoo. What is so nice about this one , except that it it very green. They are focused on latin american animals and therefore you will find some animals that you wont see everywhere else.

The picture is a mane wolf. They live in pairs in the pampas and are actually a sort of fox. They live on high heels to walk easy over the high gras. Aren't they amazing...some zoo got them but so shy.

I guess no one of you ever heard something about Dortmund! Am I right, or not?

So, Dortmund is a nice city with about 600.000 inhabitants in western Germany.

Dortmund is famous for its breweries and soccer team!
Borussia Dortmund won the European Champignonship in 1997 against Juventus Turin!

Nevertheless it is a place with a strong cultural background. In the past century Dortmund and the hole Ruhr-Region were well-known for its coal pits and mines.
The majority work in this kinks of mines!
