Me and a few friends are coming to Dortmund in September 2003 for the Germany v Scotland football game. We are staying in the centre of Dortmund, but the game is at the Westfalen(?) Stadium. How do we get from where we are staying to the stadium, and how long will it take?
You can take the U45 from the Dortmund main train station or the U46 from the Brügmann Platz. Here's a subway plan for you:

Dortmund is not really a touristy place and you will have to look for things to do. It is a nice place to go shopping, though. Eating a huge bowl of ice cream and fruit in one of the ice cream shops. The Germans know how to do ice cream right!
Well...it's always nice in the Zoo! You can go for a walk in the forest and see 320 kinds of animals. This zoo is not the fanciest zoo I've ever seen (well I'm spoilt because Hannover zoo is so great!) but it's a nice walk and there are anteaters here which are lovely and you can't see them in every zoo!!!
Apart from that the brochure says that you can get married in the giraffe stables - what an exotic idea!!!
Yes, my dear friends, my favourite team made it to the Champions League! After a very thrilling game against Borrussia Dortmund, we finally went through after being the best in the penalty shootouts.
Rarely had a game seen so many emotions: from disbelief unto hope, from joy unto utter misery, and this just to achieve unbelievable happiness and an amazing rush of adrenalin!
