Radisson Blu Media Harbour Hotel, Dusseldorf

Situated half way between the centre of town and the airport (well all right nearer the centre), this modern hotel was very reasonable and smart.

Don't expect 'cutting edge' design. The place felt just a little dated (by about 8-10 years) but was spotless, well run and I had no complaints.

Breakfast was excellent and the pool/ sauna complex was welcome as well.

Unique Quality: Right outside the hotel the U-bahn (in Dusseldorf they are trams that go underground in the central section) means it is only a quick skip and a jump to the sights.

Great hotel in a very nice and quite part of town with large rooms.

Unique Quality: Close to a tram stop and the Rhine.

Decent biz hotel.

Unique Quality: Currently under construction but all facilities open, very good resturant, has pool and sauna, decent bar as well...walking distance (500m) to Rhine. I'd stay downtown next time though and forego amenities.
