One night stay, very expensive. Rooms need complete overhaul. No bedspreads, window was broken, the walls showed signs of water leakage, carpet was worn and dirty. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere but still costs 12-13 euro to get to it. No shops, no restaurants nearby. Staff was pleasant. 25-30 euros to go into Dusseldorf. Just not worth the money. Ate in the restaurant. Food was okay, but again expensive.
The hotel needs a complete update. The windows opened but the hinges were not connected and almost had one on our heads. In March you could smother in the heat in the room. Day desk clerk was rude and more interested in the young man in her office than providing service at the front desk. Evening desk clerk was congenial and very helpful.
Restaurant menu was scant, prices were very very high. A liter of bottled water was $16 USD, an 8 ounce Coke was 4.50 USD. Could not wait to leave the next morning.
