Be enlightened by the Essener Lichtwochen (=weeks of light).
Around Christmas, the city is decorated with umpty millions of lights, either hanging in the trees or being arranged to form stars, archs and a series of pictures that run every year under a different motto.
The Limbecker street looks just great on Christmas time, because it's roofed all over by archs of light!
