Travel Tips for Mönchengladbach

Go out in Mönchengladbach and other things

by elbe

If you want to go out in Mönchengladbach you can wear casual clothes as well as more trendier clothes. But don't dress too posh - Mönchengladbach still is a province city, you can dress up more when you go to a club in Düsseldorf. The German weather is always good for surprises. It can be very cold and rainy in the summertime but it's also possible that you can wear t-shirt and shorts in April or May. So don't forget your umbrella and at least one warm pullover and one pair of long trousers (or buy it in Germany in case you need it).

Not very pretty

by ATLC

I think this castle is about the prettiest thing I saw in Mönchengladbach. The city is a bit drab, and doesn't have style.
I only knew it from the football club Borussia.
Anyway, I landed here for an event of Ladies' Circle Germany, and that in any case was very festive!
