Zum Stehling: Guesthouse with great breakfast

This guesthouse is located on the main street in Mützenich, but fortunately there was few traffic in the night. We had a room in the ground floor which had all we needed. The restaurant is in an adjacent building, but the breakfast room was the same building. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay, there was plenty of choice. They had many different kinds of cheese, cold cuts etc and you also got salmon and different tartlets/cakes. There were not only rolls but also croissants and bread, and the scrambled egg with bacon bits was very good!

Villa Burgau: Relaxing hotel

This looks like a very relazing hotel a bit off the beaten path but directly looking at the Rur river!

Unique Quality: I did not stay here but looked at it and would consider staying here in the future.

Altstadt-Post Hotel, Cafe, and Restaurant: STAY MORE SECLUDED BUT RIGHT ON THE RIVER

This is a beautiful location in scenic Monschau. The advantage is a quiet room on the Rur river.

Unique Quality: With just a short walk to the center of town you still are not on top of all of the other tourists! Charming biergarten, Quaint restaurant, very caring owners and staff! Go back in time!!
