The other side of the Rhine .. Shakespearean Neuss
Neuss is a small city on the other side of the Rhine from Düsseldorf and even after having lived here for over a year now I still hadn't been there.
Then I found out about the Shakespeare festival in a small "Globe Theatre" in Neuss. It's held every summer and it's a lovely reason to finally go over the bridge and visit Neuss.
I had always dreamt of seeing a Shakepeare play in London's Globe Theatre - with an all male cast. OK, this wasn't London. The Globe in Neuss isn't as nice and big as the one in London. But it was one of favourite plays - A Midsummer Night's Dream - played by an all male cast and it was wonderful!!!
