When drinking alt- beer in a pub/bar, the bartender will continue to replace your empty glasses by full ones until you´ve paid. He doesn´t ask if you´d like some more, he usualy just does it. So if you´ve had enough pay the bill, or put the cardboard-undertheglass-thing onto your glass. This rule only aplies to beer within or around Duesseldorf.
The average tip is 10%, and please do tip!
