Hotel Bismarckhohe

Lovely hotel located a little outside of Tecklenburg on a hill with nice views of the surrounding area called Münsterland. Many hiking trails can be explored in the close vicinity and it’s less than 1 km to the historic town of Tecklenburg. Hotel Bismarckhöhe consists of 2 buildings: the restaurant and reception are situated at a rather new building next to a half-timbered house where the guestrooms are. All rooms are en suite and have been renovated a short while ago. Our room was clean, large and tastefully decorated. The interior furnishing included 2 comfortable beds, TV, wardrobe and sitting area. It’s a small hotel with only a few double rooms (that can be booked as single rooms if needed). The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was extraordinarily good, definitely one of the best buffets I’ve ever „raided“. ; ) There was a sheer endless choice of breads, yoghurts, fruit, cereals, cold meats and cheese along with pancakes, sweet desserts, fish, sausages, etc. Available drinks were: coffee, various types of tea & juices, milk and mineral water.

Unique Quality: There's a small beer garden next to the restaurant and if the weather is kind barbecues are organised in the evenings.
