Why so Popular?
by sandysmith
The day we visited and went for a ride on the Schwebebahn it was very busy, especially considering it was Sunday, not a working day, so where was every one going??
Well when we reached the section over land we saw why - crowds were thronging below us in a street market!
Landgericht
by sandysmith
We spent several minutes on the Landgericht station admiring its charm and views of the bridges over the River Wupper.
With trains running ever couple of minutes or so it was no problem to let a few trains go past and take some pics before getting another one.
barcodex's new Wuppertal Page

Wuppertal was the first ever German city I had a chance to look at. It was in 1994, when I was 19 and sung in a choir, and we made a tour in Wuppertal area. We were hosted by boys from local choir named Kurrende (they have office on Mozartstrasse - as far as I noticed, the favourite name for the street in Germany at all). However, I was not yet infected by the travel bug that time and I did not make any picture of this hospital German city. In the nearest future I will try to add some textual tips basing the Wuppertal impressions that still live in me, but now I only can advice you visit my other German pages, which are reasonably good in my humble opinion: Munich page and Frankfurt am Main page.
