Bitburg is a neat & cosy, little town of about 14 000 citizens in the Eifel, near Trier. Their biggest company is the "famous" Bitburger Brauerei, one of the largest beer manufacturers in the world. Actually "Bitburger Beer" is a major sponsor of the German soccer team. Bitburg hosts the annual European Festival of Folklore. The towns' surrounding landscape is very lovely and about country and farm life.
