Hotel Weinhaus Berg: Simple but good

We booked this hotel through the website of the tourist information of Cochem. The entire town of Cochem had no free room left in the weekend we want to visit the Mosel region. So we decided to go for Bremm, only a few kilometers of the famous Cochem. And we were not disappointed. Bremm is a simple little village and so is this hotel. No fancy reception, just the keys behind the bar. The owner serving the guests in the bar was giving us our key and we went upstairs. We had a nice joint balcony with the two rooms next to us. We looked at the terrace of the bar/ restaurant below, but also at the river and the mountains.
The beds were good, the bathroom was sufficient and clean. Just what we needed for our weekend, nothing fancy, just a good bed, shower and toilet.
The breakfast in the morning was good, everything was there, too much for us to try it all.
We didn't book meals, but we dined here anyway and the food was great. They serve wines from Bremm, with labels of the Weinhaus berg. Although they don't make the wine themselves anymore, but buy it from neighbours.

We payed 64 Euro for double room in high season, they were fully booked. We consider that a good price / quality rate.

Our verdict:
A hotel we would defenitely book again for a great relaxing weekend in the Mosel region.
