B & B Hotel: Not difficult to find
Located opposite the terminal, this hotel is very well located if you arrive late at night or have a very early departure. It's part of a 'value' chain and delivers a fair product at a fair price. Breakfast was extra (6 euro 90 each), odd in the light of the hotel's name.
Staff were very freindly and helpful, decor adequate, clean.
My only complaint was the quality of the beds. Maybe some englisg visitors took it into their heads to take out a few boards to help Tom, Dick and Harry ?
Unique Quality: Buffet breakfast from 4.30 AM. Thoughtful touch if you have a 6AM flight.

B & B Hotel: Hahn Airport Hotel
Hahn aiport is constantly growing as the number of passengers keeps increasing. They now do have 2 hotels right opposite the terminal. We decided to book a room at B&B hotel as our flight to Stockholm left pretty early in the morning and there was not shuttle bus arriving at Hahn around that time. The hotel has just recently been opened and so all the furnishing is brand-new, the rooms are very clean and well equipped but a bit small (the hotel has obviously been built for people who stay for 1 or 2 nights only). All rooms do have a private bathroom, air conditioner, TV (including Premiere World channels for free) and they are all soundproof! :) But if you want to use the room's phone you will have to ask at the reception for activation (will cost a small fee). Breakfast was quite good, they've got all the basics and everything was filled up fast after it was empty.
They don't seem to have many German guests there as the lady at the front desk immediately talked to me in English... and I've been so perplexed that I answered in English, too! :)
The hotel is a good and reasonable choice if you've got a long layover or an early flight.

Land Hotel: Clean, simple and a great bekkie
Hahn only had one hotel until the last few years. This recent addition is in the Village itself, although they run a free shuttle service to and from the airport.
The rooms are clean, presentable and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and the fridge has a good stock of 'Land beer' (nice touch that). That and the fact that have 'tips pig' on the counter.
Unique Quality: The breakfast room was decorated for Christmas - and very festive it was too.
The breakfast itself was a groaning table of good food. Then to cap it the waitress asked
"Wood yew lick the hamz unt eggz ?"....ooh yes, very much please.
