This ultra-modern hotel actually integrates part of the 18th century Fort Malakoff into the design of the hotel located on the banks of the Rhine. After sleeping at youth hostels for several weeks, it was great to begin the next part of a long journey by welcoming my mother to Europe for three weeks. We slept here for the first night so she could be comfortable. We had a brilliant room overlooking the Rhine to watch the barges float along the river.
