My favorite hotel in Oestrich
Hotel Schwan has a lovely half-timbered facade that attracted my attention right away, when passing by on the road to Ruedesheim. The ****hotel looks quite expensive, but they had moderate prices and excellent rooms and even a lift for their guests. The hotel dates back to the year 1628 and is owned by the same family since 1883. The winery "Franz-Winkel" also belongs to the family.
Singlerooms are between 80 and 105 Euros
Doublerooms 115-160 euros
including an excellent breakfast-buffet
private facilities, 24-hour-roomservice, TV...
NO train-noises at this hotel !!
Unique Quality: The 4-star-hotel has 54 rooms and suites, a great terrace facing the river Rhine, plenty of parking-spaces close to the hotel and some of the rooms have even a balcony facing the river Rhine / Rhein.
