Gästehaus Panoramablick - Weingut Trossen: A room with a wiew

I looked the pictures of Traben-Trarbach and preferred to have a wiew over Trarbach and this Gästehaus seemed to be ideal for that. We didn't have to regret. We had a spacious room and a balcony with a splendid wiew over the Mosel and Trarbach.
Gästehaus has 14 chairs in the breakfast room so I reckon there's 7 rooms. In our mid 40's we were the youngest visitors which came from Germany, Sweden and Finland. Atmosphere was nice and so was the staff. In the breakfast room there was a fridge with different wines to choose (only one beer though). You simply wrote down what you took and paid when leaving. No credit card were accepted but that was not a problem since the nearest bank automat was not far.

Unique Quality: Familie Trossen had a great selection of their own wines to buy. The 2007 Riesling Spätlese Kröver Steffenberg was our favourite. It was nice to sit after days activities in our own balcony enjoying the wine, the scenery and the peace. There was no disturbing traffic at all and the church bells were just relaxing to hear even early in the morning.

Landal Mont Royal: Bungalow Park with a view

The Bungalowpark Landal Mont Royal is on the top of Mont Royal. The peak of royal beauty. The French King Lodewijk the 14th came to Germany for the fabulous panorama from Mont Royal. If Landal Mont Royal had been there when he came he would never have left again. The Moselle and the vineyards are at your feet. It is breathtaking! Those kings certainly had taste! The service in the park is very good. You canfind the a good restaurant, a parc shop, a bistro and a swimming pool, complete with sauna, solarium and steam cabin. For outdoors you have a choice between: Midgetgolf course,Table tennis, a petting zoo, rental of mountainbikes.

Unique Quality: For the accommodation you have the choice of many different bungalows: 4, 6, 8 and even a 10 person bungalow.
The length of your stay may very between: weekend, midweek, week .
For outdoor activities you ha a choice between:Midget golf course ,Table tennis table, Airtrampoline , Petting zoo , Combination court (suitable for several sports) ,Bike rental (mountainbikes) ,Chess ,One large playground and several little playgrounds and a Barbecue-hut.
Restaurants etc: Café/Bistro Woods with patio and Grill-cottage (menu)Snack bar 'Parksnack' and schnitzel-cab , Vinotheque.
Other things :ParkShop (open 7 days a week)
Fun & Entertainment-team and organised activities for all ages (during school holidays)
Walking and biking routes, Launderette, Free wireless internet in the restaurant
Brirthday party with Bollo for the small kids
