Considering the Berghotel Kockelsberg in Trier?

Moselwein by CliffClaven
One of the joys of travelling along the Moselle is to park the car for the night at a small inn where you can then happily indulge in a bottle of the region's famed white wine, with its light, semi-sweet taste. The small town of Piesport, about 30 km from Trier, has carved out a niche for itself in the international wine trade. Its Piesporter Michelsberg is one of the topselling wines in the United Kingdom. Old Cliffie tracked down a bottle on the top floor of the Hotel Crillon in Lima many years ago and sipped contentedly as the setting sun cast its rays on the Andean foothills.
