When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly male receptionist and told us that the hotel was fully booked that night. He gave us a referral to another hotel, but we really didn’t like the location and the hotel itself. The front didn’t look good and the location was totally wrong for us.
Because we were not able to check in at the HOTEL PRIMAVERA, I can only describe it from the outside. Just as I thought, the location of this hotel is PERFECT to our taste. It is located in the commercial area. The museum of Karl Marx is just a minute away on foot and the main shopping street that leads to the Hauptmarkt, Korn Markt, Porta Nigra, etc. is just a stroll away.
Perhaps, it could have been a very good hotel too. It has its own Italian restaurant and judging from the friendliness and helpfulness of the male receptionist, we might have had a pleasnt stay here too.
I can not recommend this hotel yet, but we are determined to book this hotel on our next visit to Trier…primarily because of its location.
In the midst of the commercial area. Shopping and the city's main attractions are very nearby. Friendly staff and own Italian Restaurant. This is also surrounded by other good restaurants.
They offer packages at very tempting prices. It's worth checking out.
