The market hall

Located next to river Chemnitz, the beautiful brick market hall catches the visitor's eye immediately. It was finished in 1891 and copies parts of the Parisian market hall. The inside is not as impressive - you find some little shops but nothing too exciting. Most of the shops are closed by now anyway...

Several nice bars are next to the market hall: Diebel's Fasskeller is one of the best places for a beer and some great food!
