Our apartment had two bedrooms (one small one, one huge one) with two beds each, a living room with two beds as well as kitchen, bathroom and a huge balcony. All of the rooms were painted in different colours so our stay here was very colourful. It was relaxing as well... especially sitting on the balcony in the evening :)
The rooms are full of wonderful modern (IKEA) furniture in minimalistic design and with colourful walls. There's a great balcony overlooking the backyard... The location in one of the "pub-streets" is great as well. In Louisenstraße itself there are at least 25 pubs, not to mention the streets near it. It's also not too far from the old town, it took us maybe 20 minutes to walk there slowly (with lots of picture taking and peeing stops ;). The next tram stop is just a few minutes away, the train station "Neustadt" you reach easily after a few minutes walk.
In the backyard of "our" building there is the hostel and underneath that there's the nice pub "Planwirtschaft" with a daily breakfast buffet for only 7.90 EUR as well as some funny GDR vacuum cleaners at the wall and a wonderful garden to sit in.
The apartment is available for up to 6 people. Prices are a bargain: 90 EUR for three people, +10 EUR for every additional person. Bedlinen is included in the price. There are at least two more apartments to rent.
Parking is available in a nearby garage for just 4.50 EUR a day.
