Nice hostel nearby center
Rooms are plain, but nice. The hostel is quite nearby the center, you can walk, but in winter better take a tram 3 or 4 stops.
The bar is not so good, they are expensive and their happy hour is not so happy always, since often they don't calculate happy hour prices.

A really clean place to stay
The Hostel Mondpalast was the first place I cooked - the common facilities were really nicely kept.
The dorm room I stayed in was bright and clean, and the bed was comfy. Downstairs there was a cool bar and internet cafe, where I hung out and checked my e-mail and looked for cool places to visit while I enjoyed one (or two) of their delicious cocktails.
All of the staff I ran into spoke English - which helped me - and all seemed really friendly.
Unique Quality: The place had a really nice and relaxed vibe, but still really well kept. The location was also pretty central with a tram stop nearby.
