I'm planning to take the Eurolines from Paris to Dresden. I would like to ask if anyone knows about the destination address at Dresden? As I could not check it from Eurolines website. Thanks a lot!

Explore the city from the Elbe River. With nine historic paddle-steamers, which are all between 72 and 122 years old, the Sächsische Dampfschiffahrt owns the world´s oldest and largest paddle-steamer fleet.

It's always great to have a local guide and many thanks to Doreen for showing me all the nooks and crannies of her hometown, Dresden.
Five years later I am lucky to call the lovely lady my wife and now I get to show her some things in her own hometown. : )
Not far from "Blaues Wunder" (the famous bridge in Loschwitz) you may see Leonhardi Museum inside a lovely building.
From the beginning it was ment to be a place for modern and alternative artists and in 1883 it was painted all over the facade with various wise proverbs and lovely decorations.
Charles Palmier, (1863-1911) was a painter and a friend of Eduard Leonhardi, and he painted all of these proverbs.
Leonhardi Museum was a progressive museum already in DDR-times and you may still see avantgarde artists there.
Avantgarde is NOT my cup of tea, BUT I like the outside of the building very much, and I may highly recommend it to any tourist. It looks even great at night !
Close to the "Blaues Wunder" in Dresden-Loschwitz you may take this "Schwebebahn" / suspension railway in order to climb up the hill and have a great panorama-view of Dresden and the surroundings.
This suspension-railway dates back to the year 1898 and was opened in 1901, beeing the first of its kind, climbing uphill by hanging down of the construction.
The total length is just 274 meters and the differnce in height is 84 meters.

Lovely views over the city, even if the main sights are not in sight. On top of my favourite Dresdner building they have a lovely beergarden. It´s the perfect spot to have a cappucino in the sunshine!
