Stayed here for 9 nights.
Used it as a base.
No free wifi but they had 2 terminals in the lobby which the guest could use for free for either 15 or 30 minutes.
Unique Quality: Central and near railway station. Food easily available outside hotel.
Great kebabs.
Blame it on Doreen and Richie's wedding but when we got to Dresden the hotels were absolutelly full. We tried several ones before trying Ibis which consist of three 10-storey building. After waiting for about 30 minutes the stuff told us there was some missunderstanding but were lucky because thanks to that they have 2 free rooms.
I think the price for a double room was €60.
The Hotel is cantrally located between the old city center and a train station but it's extremly hard to find its entrance by car, we were driving all around it but could not find the way in.
ibis hotel - a nice if somewhat impersonal hotel just off the train station. Clean and comfortable. It's particularly handy if you arrive by train late at night. There are three Ibis hotels one after the other (reason?) - and as far as Iremember there was no significant price difference
Unique Quality: Very quiet and with all the usual comforts. Splendid after a 24 hours train ride. Heavenly!
Directions: just off the train station, opposite the more expensive hotel mercure
