I spent a couple of days here in 2005. I've been to Leipzig several times, but this was the most pleasant hotel I have stayed in. It is small and old fashioned, but well furnished and clean. Our room was large and comfortable., and the neighborhood is relatively quiet.
The hotel shows a lot of original art work, a sort of mini-gallery in its public rooms.
Directions: The hotel is in a residential neighborhood well to the east of the center, but it is easy to reach by street car, as a set of main lines runs just a few blocks away. It is neither unusually chap nor unusually expensive.
