Auerbachs Keller is handsomely decorated with various paintings... I'm not sure if they're supposed to represent scenes from Goethe's play or what... But in any case, they provide an ominous atmosphere of "sturm und drang" to overshadow your dining experience and draw you into a Walpurgis Nacht mood...
