Travel Tips for Quedlinburg
Thale is wonderful!!

If you have some spare time you will not regret venturing to Thale which is only 9 minutes on the train from Quedlinburg. I spent an afternoon in Autumn wandering through the well pathed areas with a brisk breeze on my face and trickling water beside me. I did not have to walk too far from the train station to most of the major sights.
Thale is situated in the northeast edge of the Harz mountains. The main attractions are the cable railway to the Hexentanzplatz and the chair lift to the Roßtrappe (two mythical places).
