Liebfrauenkirche
This church ("Church of our Lady") was built in Baroque style 1756-62 after a fire had destroyed the previous Romanesque church at the same place. The steeple was added only in 1890.
Unfortunately the church was closed when I was there and according to the info I got it is only to visit upon appointment made in advance in the parsonage. The interior is said to be quite beautiful, all made of wood. However, the main attraction of the church is that you can climb the steeple. Again, unfortunatley on on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, thus closed when I was there. Yuck.
Location: Liebfrauenkirchhof, five minutes southeast of the town hall.
