Kiel itself is capital of Schleswig-Holstein itself is not so small town. As you visite the city you should take time also to take a look also the contryside around it and the beaches as well. So Kiel is really been seaside city tehre are several yach hourbours as well as harbours for big ships. Besides the yaching you coud windsurf or just go swimming. During the Summertime there are two main beaches open Laboe and Strande. You can use the public transportation to get there from the center of the city,
