Schulau Harbour

Schulau Harbour is a tidal harbour *), boats fall dry at low tide.
It is the home of the Segel-Verein Wedel-Schulau (SVWS)

This is a small harbour with a relaxed atmosphere.
When you take a walk from Willkomm Höft to the Strandbad (beach with playground and beach club) or the Sailor's Inn, you can walk directly alongside the harbour.

Around Wedel there are great opportunities for running. Actually you often will see some joggers, when you will be out for a walk, either along the Elbe river or through the pastures or the nearby forest.

The New Years Run is a nice, healthy way to start the new year!
Should you have made any New Years resolution about ... perhaps ... beginning ... with some jogging ...,
this is the place to start!
It is just for the fun of it, ... with no time taking !
The offered distances are between
2.5km for those who just want to try it out,
up to
10km for more experienced runners who want to work off some of the seasonal calories ;-) .
After the run there is a small buffet with a very tasty hot fruit juice (no alc) punch. Don't forget your running shoes and clothes suitable for winter running (warm jogging suit or so).
