Town house villa

Villa Bomberg is situated in the 'Villen Quartel', a neighbourhood full of grand villas from end 1800s, beginning 1900s. The roads are quite steep but the views are excellent and you are still at walking distance (about 15 minutes) from the town center.

We were put into a family room (two spacious rooms connected with a door) with 4 beds and a baby bed. With a grand private bathroom just outside the room which included a spa bath and massage shower. All this for the two of us at 60 euro per night (2010), including a really good breakfast.

This hotel (or maybe I should call it a B&B) deserves both 'Luxury travel' and 'Budget travel'!
I did not manage to get connected to the internet (contrary to what the website said) but I'm sure that if I'd asked, it would be done.
There's a small pool in the garden where you can certainly enjoy beautiful evenings.

A special note about the breakfast. It was such a delight to see the breakfast table laid out with such care. The meat cuts, eggs, bread, etc. were excellent and fresh. No bland products but real stuff. Because it is one table, you easily get into conversation with other guests.

If you're coming to Eisenach, I would certainly recommend you book a room here!
