Considering the Hotel Garni Daberstedt in Erfurt?

Erfurt's Citadel by King_Golo
Erfurt is also home to a massive citadel overlooking the city centre. Petersberg citadel was built in the late 17th century and served as a fortification as well as a monastery. Entering it from the dome side, you'll soon see the massive gate in which a small museum gives you insides to the citadel's history. Objects and artifacts from back then are exhibited, but also a very interesting finding: dead, mumified cats. It used to be a superstitious belief in Germany that cats would bring luck to the house and its inhabitants if they were immured alive. The cats on display are in a very good state, but with a little fantasy you can read their pains from their faces...
Apart from this rather horrifying look, the citadel is the number one place for great looks on the city of Erfurt. During good weather conditions you can see all of Erfurt and much further!
