Biggest Hotel in Oberhof
I stayed two nights in the hotel. In Winter and specially when there are any sports events the hotel is full of people. In April most guests stay in the hotel for a fun tour: a bit of sightseeing and a lot of fun and alcohol. Clubs and companies like to spend the weekends here.
If you prefer a quiet place you should stay in one of the many nice pensions and B&B. I stayed in the hotel, as I had been invited to give a seminary to some travel agents. Normally I would prefer the smaller hotels.
The rooms are very small, architectureure and design still show a lot of former GDR-days. Staff is friendly, food is mainly local specialities.
Unique Quality: Disco, Indoor-Swimmingpool, Sauna, many big rooms with everything you need for conferences and seminaries.
The hotel is not far from ski-jump and bob-run.
