Apart-Hotel Weimar is located only 1,5 km South of the town centre which can easily be reached by public transport. It's a pretty new building and, to be honest, from the outside it looks a bit insipid. But the staff was very friendly, check in was fuss-free and the rooms turned out to be large, clean and quiet. All rooms are en-suite and equipped with hair-dryer, phone, desk and TV. Non-smoking rooms are available on request. There's a free car/ bus park right in front of the hotel. In close vicinity to the hotel you will also find a petrol station and a McDonald's- which proved quite convenient during our stay. The breakfast buffet was great, there were different kinds of bread, fresh fruit, juice, joghurts, etc. You can also taste some Thuringian gastronomic specialities.
As an additional service the hotel offers help with booking of, for example, guided city tours, tickets for various events or reservations of all kinds. Just contact the reception for detailed info.
