Great bio congress hotel

I stayed in the Seehotel several times because it's owened by the company I worked for. The rooms a really nice, some with living rooms and balcony. The service is always friendly and tries to help when you need help.

The food in the restaurant is wonderful, not that cheap, but really wonderful. Nearly everything is biological and tastes great. The view over the barrage is great (6th floor).
The beergarden at the barrage is quite nice but the food is not as good as in the restaurant - nevertheless still expensive, especially for the quality which is not as good as in the restaurant.

The hotel also owns a small disco, a lot of congress rooms and a bar.

I can recommend the Seehotel unlimited. But remember that the prices for rooms and food are high for this region.

Unique Quality: In the GDR it was a hotel for families and workers of the GDR and was one of the favorite holiday places for many people. After 1989 it should be torn down but an entrepreneur bought and renovated it completely. Appr. 1000 rooms before this change are now appr. 200 rooms.

The hotel is located directly to the "Talsperre", the barrage with a beautiful view to it and the wood around the barrage. It's in the middle of nature with a golf course, a fitness centre, a sauna, a beach volleyball court, a tennis court and more. Close to the hotel is the Waikiki Bad, a tropical swimming pool. The city is not that far but you need to walk about 20 minutes to the centre. The hotel offers a shuttle service.
