Great all inclusive hotel for a week
We stayed a this hotel right at the end of the season, so maybe it was a little quieter than in high season. It was was first time that we had stayed anywhere on an all inclusive basis (it was a cheap deal) and we were pleasantly surprised. There was a reasonable amount of choice for vegetarians. Breakfast was brill with hot and cold choices and decent coffee. lunchtime we were pretty limited to pizza and salad, but we had expected this. Evenings nearly always had a veggie soup, brilliant salad selections, and we could always find a main course - even if it was pasta! Best of all the wine was decent and was on tap so that you could help yourself to a carafe , and another carafe and on one night yet another carafe. There was a bar upstairs where you could get your choice of cocktail of the day and it had outside seating areas which was brilliant for escaping from cigarette smoke.
The hotel room was lovely - better then the usual standard accommodation that we had anticipated. the bathroom was large - with a bath!
In the daytime we preferred to sit on a lounger on the beach - as the pool was noisier with music playing ecetera - but this is only to be expected. There was no mithering animation team and we could get through our reading lists in peace.
I would return to this hotel again if I could get a similar deal.
Unique Quality: The swimming pool was very pretty at night - quietly lit up.
The rooms were better than I usually expect in Greece
There was no noisy animation team in October when we stayed.
Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Louis Creta Princess Hotel Photo: hotel pool in the evening
Have just returned (20th July) from the Louis Creta Princess hotel, all 16 of us (8 adults and 8 children ranging from 11yrs to 1 yr). Have personally been to a couple of all-inclusive resorts and must say I found this to be the best! Having read some of the previous comments with regards to the rooms being on the small side - we found them fine. I would agree that if you plan to stay for more than 1 week then a hire car would be good - as I missed the shops (but we were only there for 1 week so we made the most of the great facilities that were on offer). We had rooms in the bungalows, which were cleaned every day. We all as a family cannot find fault with this hotel, the food, the pools, the animation team, the helpful staff all made this a place that I would certainly go back to again.

Went without the children last year but want to take them with us this time. Never had such a nice relaxing holiday even though the hotel was very busy at the time. Food was excellent - came back a stone heavier than when I went. Staff were great.

This hotel is one of the best i have stayed in,although the rooms were basic they were clean and tidy, i tend not to spend much time in them anyway. The pool area is huge and well laid out, i don't think it would get full even in peak season,if it did there is always the beach, which the hotel backs right onto.A special mention to the Animation team who were just superb and very hard working, they have the time for just about anybody.Peppe,Steven and Katia, thanks guys for a great time.If i were to whinge about anything it would be the location as it is not near many things hence the all inclusive though they do put on a bus every day for you to go to Chania(the shopping center)and the pebbley beach..ouch not again. The food was good the drinks were on tap(litterally)just help yourself and the weather great. All in all we had a great time and so will you wether you are young, old or in between...Hope this helps you decide. Good and Bad

The hotel and entertainment were good, a pitty they only spoke Italian and poor English. The food was not as you can expect, even for Greece the food was poor, fat and most of the time the same over and over. We booked sea-view: but the sea was far away and not really worth the extra money. I travelled for many years all-inclusive and this was just not good enough.
