Swimming pool at hotelWasp repellent!
Our travel rep mentioned on the coach the mosquitos, which we wern't worried about as we'd got our numerous repellents anyway from previous trips abroad.
We didn't see any mosquitos. They seemed to have mutated into wasps.. lots of them, all over the place! The hotel, the beach, the restaurant, everywhere - until you learn to just ignore them (probably about mid holiday!) they're extremely irritating.
Fortunately, after sunset they disappear to give a few hours well deserved reprieve.
If you can't managed to smuggle a flame-thrower with you on the flight, I strongly recommend something effective to scare away the little terrors!
