Short winter holiday in Nea Kallikratia
Last winter I visited this small and friendly location and I find it very suitable for the summer holiday too;at the end of the long sandy beach there is a very nice open traditional taverna which serve delicious kalamaria and sweet red excellent wine;lots of shops were closed because of the winter but this could be a good reason to go shopping nearby;and for the ones who loves visiting Thessaloniki, it's relatively close so, goe for it!
Downtown there is an white impressive church with a small chapel, I've been surprised to find it open at 10 pm so I went and pray.
