Panormitis Monastery: Free Board For Pilgrims

The buildings that you see here around the monastery house basic accomodation. Know as "cells" they're available for short stays for those making a pilgrimage and are fairly basic. I didn't stay here, I was only on a day trip, so I can't comment about their comfort. Whilst being "free" it is expected that you make some sort of contribution to the monastery, especially if you are more tourist than pilgrim.
