Navarino Beach Camping: Popular

A popular site fronting the beach, near Gialova, north of Pilos. Seemed to be in two sections, if you weren't lucky enough to get a pitch on the part next to the beach you had to be across the road in an uninteresting bit of the site.
I didn't like the fact that to gain access to the beach you had to walk through peoples encampments or so it seemed.
Was crowded when we looked. Not really our cup of tea.

Unique Quality: Nice if you are by the beach.
Supposedly good facilities.

Hotel 12 Gods



Unique Quality: This medium class hotel has rooms with the names of the Olympic Gods (and a few more).
Great views over the Navarino Bay.
A bit overpriced for the quality they offer. 35 euros per single room.
