As Epidaure is one of the most visited sites in Greece, there are plenty of campings : camping Nicolas, camping Bekas, camping Verdelis, camping Diamantos to mention only a few of them. However, each time it is possible we prefer to camp in the wild. Given the number of visitors in Epidaure, this is possible only away from the city. We found a very quiet place 25 km away, between Trahià and Didima. Theme: Campground

This small hotel, with about 15 studios and apartments, is located a few kilometers south of the port in Ancient Epidavros, in the middle of orange groves and just about 200 meters from the beach. Each studio has a small kitchen and a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast and snacks are served in the main floor restaurant--make sure you're hungry, because the breakfast is enough food to last you until dinnertime! It's delicious! The family that owns this hotel, led by Costas Bekas, is extremely friendly and accommodating. This was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I've had in a long time.
Rooms are comfortable (the beds are on the hard side, but I like that) and the kitchenettes are well stocked for making light meals.
