We stayed a few years ago. One of the best equipped and nicely decorated apartments we've ever stayed in, and I highly recommend. The owners live in one of the apartments (A - see website) part of the year. Apartment A sleeps seven and B sleeps five. They are very reasonably priced, especially out of season.
We were there when the owners were at home and they were very helpful and even left us some lemon curd and wine - a kind touch.
Very central with a great view over the town. Beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with a delightful patio. Everything you could need is here - air-conditioning, central heating, fridge, hob, microwave, oven, washing machine, CD player, radio, satellite/cable, stereo system, balcony, barbecue, garden, terrace. It quickly felt like home. It was so neat that I felt guilty ever time it got like my scruffy old home.
Nafplion is fascinating and beautiful in itself - lovely walks, beaches, shops, and many great restaurants. There's the fort to climb up to ( see my tip though!) and a good archaeological museum, plus a delightful komboli museum. It also makes an excellent base for visiting Mycaenae, Tiryns and Epidaurus and much more. The apartments are very well located in a pretty street. The attached picture is from the hotel website as I didn't have my camera with me and I loved the terrace so much I had to show it to you! This pic doesn't really do it justice though and it actually looked much bigger when you are lolling under the sun-umbrella on a lazy, hazy day :-)
