Be careful!
Please be careful while booking the hotel through the internet!
While booking the stay through venere.com (reservation #8054836), the hotel charged ALL the sum of the stay PRIOR to all the terms and conditions (my Bank confirmed me, that it was a real charge, not a block). I contacted the hotel, but did not get any reasonable explanations for the charge against the rules and conditions from the hotel authorities (on most of the letters I did not get an answer at all). Because of the not proper client relationship on the part of the hotel, I was very disappointed and cancelled the reservation. The cancellation was performed under terms and conditions, without any penalty – that was conformed by the e-mail sent to me.
The cancellation was performed on 11 of February, but did not get the money back!
I contacted with the hotel authorities on the 1 of March, and get the confirmation that there was a program error, so they’ll correct it and I’ll receive my money back in day or two. Unfortunately, I still did not get them.
I sent letters to the hotel but get no answers.
Now my Bank (in cooperation with Visa) is performing the investigation.
I’m using the booking of the hotels through the internet for many years, but that is the first time I’m getting such a problem. Please be careful while dealing with Athens Atrium Hotel & Suites if you do not want to lose your time and money.
By the way, because the charge was performed prior all the term, the money charged from my credit card by the hotel were overdraft money, so the interest was accrued on the sum.

Accommodation - Athens Atrium Hotel or Art Hotel
Hello,
Has anyone stayed at either of the above hotels? I am due to visit this year in late summer and cannot make a choice between the two. I am looking for a four star hotel that is reasonably quiet (difficulty sleepng so want somewhere away from traffic). Hopefully would like somewhere with spa or beauty centre closeby and nie restaurants. Also does anyone know how far they are from the airport?

Hi! I have visit Athens Atrium Hotel in September 2005 for 2 days before our trip to Mykonos. They offer us an Executive room with a whirlpool/ Jacuzzi. The room was very beautiful and big and the price was affordable too!! We was surprised in the beginning! The hotel is in quiet road, behind Agios Sostis Church, near Syngrou av and 5 to 10 min. from Syntagma. I am not sure if the hotel has spa but for sure you will find it nearby! I am a journalist from Australia and my colleagues suggest the Athens Atrium Hotel & Suites for my business trip in Athens. The location was very good because we have an affiliate company nearby and the hotel offers free parking onsite! This hotel is not in a busy area in Athens center so it must be your first choice! The rooms of this hotel are perfect with big tub with jets or whirlpools. The lobby is very pretty and the restaurant has a lovely rock waterfall. Breakfast and dinner was very good! The staff and the management of this hotel are very professional!
