A nice hotel by the sea
Our room was well-equiped. We had a balcony w/chairs, a large closet, wall-mounted TV with Cable, and a pot to heat water for tea or coffee. The bathroom had both ub and shower, but tub was short!
Staff was really helpful—directions, maps, etc. One small problem in our room was fixed immediately. The seaside rooms have great view, but can be noisy (Busy street)
The tram stop is about 2 blocks away (1/2 hour ride to city center) There is a grocery store and a bakery (with deli sandwiches and gelato as well as baked goods) about a block from the hotel.
Unique Quality: Pool, Gym, free wireless. There is one computer in the lobby for guest use (fee).
Price includes buffet breakfast.

Paleo Faliro: between Athens and Glyfada
This is a family owned hotel that is now a Best Western. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The best rooms face the sea, but can be a little noisy due to the coastal traffic. Thank God, the hotel has windows that isolate the noise and aircondition for the hot summer nights!
Unique Quality: There is a great view of the waterfront at night (see photo attached). It is also not far from the city center of Athens, and not far from Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni, etc. Here one can find lots and lots of restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping malls to satisfy ones spending needs!!!
The best part, at walking distance from the hotel on the beach a restaurant where you can sit have a great meal and watch the sun go down in the sea... that is why I love Greece!
