The hotel is located 100 m from Omonia metro station on Agiou Konstantinou Street. It's european standard; with private bathroom, TV, aircon, telephone, elevator. Price is 30 - 45 EUR/double w/o breakfast, depending on room and length of your stay. I stayed there four nights and paid 30 EUR. It doesn't get much cheaper in central Athens. People will tell you that Omonia is a bad place to stay because it's a gathering area of, say, "creatures of the night", but I didn't have any negative experiences, day or night.
Directions: Omonia, near the National Theatre
I arrived on my own when the evening had just got dark, so was not too impressed when asked to pay up front now! It may have been my understandingof his Eng/Greek, because next morning i found everything fine . It is a 2 star hotel, about 45 E not including breakfast. The hotel is central about 50m from Omonia Square. There is a pleasent bar/cafe over the road from the hotel.
