Best Chocolate Mousse
by aquatic about Eat at Milton
We asked for a copy of their menu, but waitress refused to give a copy. Obviously they think that Eat at Milton is very original and interesting place. Not for a New Yorker, though. It is not a traditional greek food place. However, everything I ate here I liked very much. I took 7 pictures of everything we ordered so you can judge at list by them.
I would say, the place is nice, small, but nice and romantic. It is located in Plaka was close to my hotel Electra Palace. It is not cheap, but I guess, appropriate for Electra customers:)) We ate:
Valeriana Salad with asparagus, fennel and horseredish
Lamb shank
Yogurt parfait with caramelized cake with TOMATOE marmelade (was very good and surprising)
Panakotta Kahlua (also very good)
Chocolate Mousse - the best I ever tried.

You can easily get to central Athens by Airport Express Bus #95 which will take you right to Syntagma Square, leaving every 30 minutes--every day--all night long. That time of night it should take you about 45 minutes. The bus ticket costs 3.2 Euro. Pay the driver and validate the ticket inside the bus in the little machine. There is baggage storage space inside the bus.
When you get off the bus at Syntagma you'll be alongside the Square on the south side. Walk downslope (west)to the corner, cross the intersection and you'll be walking down Mitropoleos Street. About 1/4 mile further down is the Monastiraki Metro Station. In that short distance between Monastiraki and Syntagma, along Mitropoleos, are several budget hotels including the Pan, Arethusa, Magna Grecia and the Plaka, and one block over (north-parallel to Mitropoleos) on Ermou Street is the Electra Hotel. These are all just a few short minutes' walk from the bus stop. You can also walk down to the Monastiraki Metro Station and turn left at the signal onto Athinas Street and walk the 2-3 blocks north to the Cecil and Attalos Hotels.
