My wife and I spent 4 nights here in June, 2003 and we were very underwhelmed. the rooms are reasonable size but very sparsely decorated with very low quality furniture and prints that seems to have been placed in the rooms out of conviniece for the person who had to move it rather than the convinience of the guests. The "hot" breakfasts were usually stone cold, the eggs runny, and the front desk staff bordered on surly. While maybe 20% of the rooms have nice views the others are utterly uninspiring. The room rate listed on the back of the door said the normal price for rooms was almost $200 per night. If we had been paying that my wife and I would have left to find other accomodations the first night. The hotel DOES have a great location, and IS acceptable at the right price(we got a steal of a deal for around $65 from AAA). However, if you are paying anywhere near $100-$120 a night STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! There are many other much nicer hotels in great areas at this price in Athens.
