Cheap and Central
The hostel is located near Athina street, the city hall, the central Market and Omonia square. So, it’s a central location which makes you close to everything. Although the place is central, the area is not that nice. Sofokleous street is a narrow and shady street. In the neighbourhood there are some zones that seemed to have been in war, prostitutes hang in corners and pet stores give you the smell you just didn’t need after eating your morning breakfast. In front of the Hostel a new and fancy hotel has appear, and with its balconies full of wonderful lamps, you’ll be blinded if you ever try to go to the balconies of your room. Besides that I must say it’s a nice place to stay. I didn’t felt particularly threatened by anything, the rooms are small but relatively clean and there’s hot water (although difficult to control) and beds are comfortable. You also have a sink in the room. There’s no lift neither breakfast
